So, you'd like to be listed on venusdream.org as an affiliate?
There are a few guidelines your site must follow in order to be linked.
1. Your site must be organized and easy to navigate.
2. If your site is NOT a personal site, it must have something in common with me. (ie. a band I'm interested in, TV show, graphic arts like photoshop brushes, etc. You can find out all that info effortlessly by browsing this site. I really don't see a point in linking to a website about Ludacris when I don't even listen to that kind of music. You follow?)
3. Websites featuring racism, homophobia, or any type of hateful messages and/or imagery are automatically denied. No if's, and's, or but's.
4. You must type with literacy. I understand that not everyone is as anal retentive about grammar and spelling as I am, however you must put some effort into communicating like an educated human being. It should go without say that iF U tYp LYk DiS Nd SHIT!!!!!1!!11!1one11! you're gonna get declined. Grow up, this isn't an AOL chat room.
5. Graphics are okay if they merge a loyout together or display your art. But obnoxious blinking, flashing, "glittery" images are damn annoying and cause seizures. I also don't wanna see hearts, stars, four-leaved clovers, unicorns, lollipops, iron crosses, skulls, or anything else falling from the top of your screen. I don't like letters or shapes chasing my cursor around the screen, either.
6. I shouldn't have to wear sunglasses to browse your site. Neon text on neon backgrounds is ridiculous.
7. I don't typically link to myspace pages unless they are outstandingly designed. The graphics on your background, add/message box, and extended network box should be designed by you. Getting layouts from freehotlayouts.com and its like doesn't say much about your creativity.
8. I reserve the right to browse your site and decline your application for any reason.
